MEET DEB
Equipper, Encourager + Prayer Warrior
Deb Hopper is a wife, mother to three adult daughters and Nonny to eleven grandchildren. Married now for almost 30 years, Deb’s decade as a single mom was the breaking point in her spiritual life and the beginning of a powerful prayer journey.
Deb was called into ministry at age 16, but spent the first 25 years of her professional career serving in the church and working in the corporate world. Those skills proved beneficial when God appointed her to full-time ministry in 2008, as Pastor of Women’s Ministry at Seacoast Church.
Her own experience of being a single mom to two small children has given Deb a passion to help women in that season. She has launched a non-profit organization, SEEN moms, to sharpen, encourage and equip single moms with next steps.
In her times of rest, you will find Deb enjoying gardening, beach, coffee or conversations with the daughters or hosting her tribe of 18 for Sunday lunch. She and her husband Gibson live in Charleston, SC where they enjoy completing home projects together, traveling to new cities and experiencing jazz clubs.
You will find her encouraging women on Instagram @debhopper.
